Mary Heffernan has provided organizational consultation services for over 25 years. She also provides mediation in the workplace, Executive and Life Coaching, and Leadership Development services. She has founded and directed nonprofit organizations on a state and national level and has experience working in local government Mary has been the Executive Director of two non profit organizations in Oregon (and the founder of one), during which she received training and mentoring in organizational development and group communication/facilitation. She was also the national program director, based in Washington, D.C., of all state affiliates for a national non-profit, and has experience working in local government.
A graduate of Wellesley College, Mary has received additional knowledge and training in workplace mediation, cross-cultural conflict practices, organizational theory, coaching (Coaches Training Institute) and as a graduate student in communication. She graduated (2002) from the year-long Co-Active Space Leadership Program, as well as serving as assistant to the Program in 2003.
She has traveled for extended periods of time in Southeast Asia and other parts of the world, and has led women’s travel journeys to Hawaii, Bali and Mexico.
